Maine Humanities Council provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
A speaker program that brings Maine Humanities speakers to communities across Maine. Maine Humanities provides access to a speaker roster and event support for organizations or groups convening a public talk.
Who can apply
Any individual or organization in Maine that wants to convene members of their community to learn from and engage with a speaker is eligible to apply. Applicants should choose three preferred speakers and plan to apply about 8 weeks before the event.
