This is not a grant
Dogwood Health Trust provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
A grant writing support program that connects eligible Western North Carolina nonprofits, community-based organizations, government agencies, and collaborations with professional grant writers at no cost to help them pursue federal, state, and private foundation funding outside the region.
Who can apply
Organizations with an active Dogwood grant for some or all of 2026 that serve the Qualla Boundary and/or at least one of the 18 counties of Western North Carolina, serve populations most impacted by health disparities, have an operating budget under $5 million, and align with Dogwood's 2026 funding priorities. Additional eligibility applies for hurricane relief funding for organizations with budgets over $5 million, Councils of Government (COGs), and municipalities located in one of the 12 counties most impacted by Hurricane Helene and seeking funding for hurricane relief and recovery efforts.
