About this program
The foundation collects suitable children's and youth books from publishers and distributes them through local food-bank-style aid organizations ('Tafeln') and other distribution points to children and families in need. Book packages contain 60 books with different titles and are distributed via local bookshops or direct shipment; organizations must agree to the distribution conditions and use the books only for needy individuals.
Who can apply
Open to nonprofit aid organizations recognized as charitable that handle distribution of the book donations. Organizations must send the order form and commitment declaration, confirm charitable status, and agree to distribute books only to needy individuals/families and not to sell or pass them on to other organizations.
