Jockey Being Family Foundation provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Provides free personalized backpacks (with blanket and teddy bear) for newly adopted children plus a Parent Resource Tote for adoptive parents; distributed to adoption agencies, social workers, judges/legal professionals and nonprofit partners to support post-adoption services.
Who can apply
Agency or social workers: handle more than 5 adoptions per year and handle U.S. domestic, state, or private adoptions; agree to order a JBF backpack for all adoptions the agency handles. Judges and legal professionals: finalize adoptions (domestic, state, private or international, including re-adoptions) and agree to provide a backpack to families finalizing adoption through the courtroom. All applicants must agree to program terms when registering.
