International Rice Genebank – Germplasm Distribution
A resource program from International Rice Research Institute
This is not a grant
International Rice Research Institute provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
IRRI provides free international exchange of rice germplasm through the International Rice Genebank. Small quantities of rice are available to entities or establishments for research, breeding, or training for food and agriculture purposes. Regular genebank materials are freely available in standard amounts, while genetic stocks may carry a minimal fee to cover maintenance costs.
Who can apply
Available to any entity or establishment for research, breeding, or training for food and agriculture purposes, subject to compliance with the Standard Material Transfer Agreement (SMTA).
