Lightning Foundation provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
In-kind donation program that supports local nonprofit organizations by providing signed memorabilia that can be used for fundraising.
Who can apply
Requests must be submitted online at least 90 days before the event. Eligible organizations must be within 75 miles of Benchmark International Arena. Donations cannot be mailed and must be picked up at the arena. The Lightning do not accept requests by mail, email, fax, or phone, and do not support certain excluded categories such as preschools, PTAs/PTOs, private schools, individual fundraising events, third-party campaigns, recreational activities, political/religious/advocacy groups, travel funds, conferences, seminars, workshops, or organizations conflicting with Lightning goals or affiliations.
