About this program
AmeriCorps State members serve in Iowa supporting local Habitat affiliates and nonprofits through direct service (construction, disaster response), community engagement, volunteer mobilization, and related activities. Members serve 3, 6, 9, or 12 month commitments and complete required AmeriCorps hours.
Who can apply
Be eligible to serve in AmeriCorps (meets AmeriCorps requirements); able to serve a 3, 6, 9 or 12 month service term; subject to host-site requirements. Specific position descriptions and location details provided on the member application page.
