About this program

Provides clothing and shoe vouchers to government and private social service organizations, churches, and schools so they can redistribute them to clients in need. Approved agencies can receive vouchers for use at Goodwill of Greater Washington retail stores in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

Who can apply

All government and private social service organizations, churches, and schools are eligible for Good Samaritan Program membership at no charge. Agencies must submit a completed Good Samaritan Application and a copy of their IRS 501(c)(3) approval letter, if applicable.
