GASSSS Education Outreach / Educational Materials & Equipment for Outreach Use
A resource program from General Atomics Sciences Education Foundation
This is not a grant
General Atomics Sciences Education Foundation provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
GASSSS (General Atomics employee outreach program) provides educational materials, equipment, and a matchmaker service to connect GA employees with educators for K-12 STEM outreach. A resource room holds books, modules, hands-on items, 3D printers, drone kits, displays, and other outreach materials available to GA employees; GA employees and educators can request matches or borrow materials.
Who can apply
GA employees may access materials for outreach and be listed as GASSSS participants; educators/schools may request GA employee volunteers or materials by contacting the program lead. The matchmaker is intended to connect GA employees and educators; external nonprofit partners typically coordinate with GA employee volunteers.
