About this program

GASSSS (General Atomics employee outreach program) provides educational materials, equipment, and a matchmaker service to connect GA employees with educators for K-12 STEM outreach. A resource room holds books, modules, hands-on items, 3D printers, drone kits, displays, and other outreach materials available to GA employees; GA employees and educators can request matches or borrow materials.

Who can apply

GA employees may access materials for outreach and be listed as GASSSS participants; educators/schools may request GA employee volunteers or materials by contacting the program lead. The matchmaker is intended to connect GA employees and educators; external nonprofit partners typically coordinate with GA employee volunteers.
