About this program
Mobile pantry distributions operated by Harry Chapin Food Bank (Fulfill Mobile Pantry Program) deliver boxes of food and TEFAP commodities directly to communities and sometimes operate through or in partnership with local nonprofit agencies. The food bank coordinates mobile pantry events and works with partners to distribute federal commodities and other food products to residents in need.
Who can apply
Organizations or sites that wish to host or facilitate a mobile pantry should be located within the food bank’s five-county service area and coordinate with Harry Chapin Food Bank staff; TEFAP distribution requires agency/site compliance with federal TEFAP rules and completion of TEFAP eligibility forms.
