Food Bank Distribution (Partner Agency Network)
This is not a grant
Second Harvest of South Georgia provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Second Harvest of South Georgia distributes food to partner agencies across its service area. Eligible churches and 501(c)(3) nonprofits can partner with the food bank to receive food resources for direct distribution to neighbors in need. Agencies pay a shared maintenance fee per pound to cover transportation and handling, and all food must be given to end users at no cost.
Who can apply
Churches and 501(c)(3) nonprofits may be eligible. Agencies must be registered as a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit, be in good standing with the Georgia Secretary of State, demonstrate community need, follow equal opportunity and access requirements, maintain pest control standards, maintain regular hours of operation, and comply with Food Bank policies.
