About this program

GRID's Energy for All program develops and implements renewable energy projects that serve low-income and environmental justice communities. Services include no-cost or low-cost solar installations, community/shared solar development, technical assistance and low-cost design/installation for multifamily affordable housing providers, and bundling state incentives (e.g., DAC-SASH) with local incentives and philanthropy to deliver low-to-no-cost solar.

Who can apply

Varies by sub-program: single-family services target low-income, owner-occupied households; multifamily and community solar offerings target affordable housing providers, community groups, and energy-burdened customers. Some offerings bundle California state incentives and require residence in specified utility territories when applicable.
