About this program
Free energy-saving loan packages for public libraries and other participating library locations. The package includes an energy cost meter, an extension cable with on/off switch, instructions, energy-saving information, and promotional materials. Libraries can request the package free of charge and lend it to users to help identify electricity 'energy hogs' and reduce energy consumption.
Who can apply
Interested libraries can request the package free of charge. Public libraries receive the package at no cost and it becomes the property of the library. The project is run in cooperation with libraries; only one package per library location is provided initially due to limited supply.
