Home Builders Care Foundation provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
HBCF provides donated construction expertise, labor, materials, and in-kind discounts to established nonprofit organizations that build or renovate community-based shelters and supportive housing facilities in its service area. The program is structured into three project levels: Turn Key Projects, Classic Projects, and Marquee Projects.
Who can apply
Open to established nonprofit organizations with nonprofit registration, strong community support, property owned by or long-term leased from a nonprofit or local government, compliance with zoning and licensing, completed application, supportive housing or shelter-related purpose, stable operating funding, potential matching funding, and commitment to use the property for its charitable purpose for ten years.
