This is not a grant
Dignity in Motion provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Refurbished bicycles, locks, lights, helmets, and occasional bike carts provided free to people who are unhoused. Dignity in Motion receives donated bikes, rehabilitates them, and distributes them through partner nonprofits and outreach events (e.g., Fix-a-Palooza). Local nonprofits and faith-based organizations can request bikes to give to unhoused individuals they serve.
Who can apply
Recipient individuals must be unhoused. Requests should be submitted by local nonprofits or faith-based organizations working with unhoused individuals. One bike per person per year.
