Extrafood provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
ExtraFood delivers donated prepared food, fresh produce, dairy, eggs, meat, packaged goods, and baked goods to eligible nonprofit partners serving food-insecure people in the Bay Area.
Who can apply
Organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; be educated about and follow food-safety guidelines; use the food only to serve food-insecure people in the Bay Area free of charge; and have a staff member onsite to receive deliveries.
