Food Bank of the Albemarle provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Partnership program for nonprofits, faith-based organizations, local organizations, government agencies, or businesses to help distribute food resources to neighbors in need across Northeast North Carolina. Partnership types include Partner Agency, Food Bank Partner, and Referral Partner.
Who can apply
Organization must be a recognized charity with a hunger-relief program serving the needy, ill and infants; be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or eligible faith-based/accredited church or public nutrition education/service program; demonstrate community need; have adequate physical capacity, staff/volunteers, a defined food distribution system, a budget supporting the hunger-relief program, and a board of directors.
