Fairbanks Arts Association provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Fairbanks Arts Association invites Alaska-based artists to apply for solo, group, or curated exhibitions in the Bear Gallery during the 2028 season. Selected applicants receive exhibition space in the gallery; applications are reviewed by a panel of professional Alaskan artists based on work samples and artist statements.
Who can apply
Open to Alaska residents age 18+ who live in-state at least 6 months of the year. Artists or groups may exhibit in the Bear Gallery once every 4 years; those who last exhibited before 2024 are eligible to apply. Curated exhibitions are exempt from the once-every-4-years limit.
