About this program
School-start support for socially disadvantaged first-grade children. The foundation works directly with kindergartens and related institutions to provide anonymous school bags (Schulranzen) and filled school cones (Schultüten) with needed supplies such as pencils, paint sets, lunchboxes, water bottles and small toys.
Who can apply
First-grade children from families that cannot afford school starter equipment; requests are routed through kindergartens or comparable institutions that know the families well.
