Art in Action provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
Provides Art in Action programs and supplies to eligible K-8 schools, including access to the online grade-level curriculum, program supplements, all materials needed to teach 12 complete lessons, training for the school’s teaching team, year-round teaching support, and help developing a sustainable art plan.
Who can apply
K-8 schools not already using the Art in Action program; school must be designated Title I or be able to demonstrate need; a letter of commitment to teach the program during the award year signed by the applicant and principal; names of a teacher, parent or volunteer who will teach in each awarded classroom; reporting and documentation requirements including surveys, mid-term survey, final report, photos and testimonials.
