About this program

Provides Art in Action programs and supplies to eligible K-8 schools, including access to the online grade-level curriculum, program supplements, all materials needed to teach 12 complete lessons, training for the school’s teaching team, year-round teaching support, and help developing a sustainable art plan.

Who can apply

K-8 schools not already using the Art in Action program; school must be designated Title I or be able to demonstrate need; a letter of commitment to teach the program during the award year signed by the applicant and principal; names of a teacher, parent or volunteer who will teach in each awarded classroom; reporting and documentation requirements including surveys, mid-term survey, final report, photos and testimonials.
