South Michigan Food Bank provides donated goods or services here, not funding. Nonprofits receive items or support directly rather than money, so there is no award to spend. If you're looking for cash funding, this program won't provide it.
About this program
South Michigan Food Bank partners with 501(c)(3) community organizations (food pantries, soup kitchens, school pantries, backpack programs, etc.) to supply food, Fresh Food Distributions, and other direct food resources. Agencies complete an application/interest form to become an authorized partner with ordering and distribution privileges.
Who can apply
Organization must be a registered 501(c)(3) or sponsored by a church/other religious organization (requires verification). Agencies complete an application providing program type, hours, number of households served, volunteers/staff, physical distribution address, annual budget and ability to use online ordering/reporting.
