About this program
Feeding South Dakota’s network of charitable partners that operate food pantries, kitchens, shelters, and other community service sites across South Dakota counties. Partners receive food products and support to provide grocery, meal, and emergency food assistance.
Who can apply
Must be an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the ill, needy, or infants; must distribute food free of charge; at least 50% of people served must be low-income; must be able to order online and have a regularly used email address; must provide two regular contacts; must agree to site visits; must complete food safety training every two years; must demonstrate outreach beyond the organization/congregation; food pantries must have adequate storage, a consistent public distribution day/time, and distribute at least monthly.
