About this program
National affiliate launch pathway for communities, schools, housing authorities, or community-based organizations to apply to start a licensed “I Have A Dream” Foundation affiliate. Submission of the Affiliate Interest Questionnaire initiates a multi-step process (orientation call, fit assessment, affiliate formation requirements, board licensing approval) that can lead to national support and identification/cultivation of funding to launch an IHDF program.
Who can apply
Community champions/advocates and an organizational partner (School District/School, Housing Authority, Community Based Organization, College or University) with facilities/resources and a philanthropic/community funding interest. Applicants should describe local assets, potential funding sources, numbers of students to serve, and supporting individuals/roles committed to launch.
