Who can apply
Organization must be a recognized charitable or nonprofit organization in the country where it is registered. In the United States, this includes IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) organizations and public libraries (with valid 501(c)(3) status or listing in the IMLS database). Nonprofit staff are eligible; beneficiaries, members, and donors are not eligible.
